Normally I try a place at least twice before posting reviews. So to make a long story short I have been looking for a place that makes Butterscotch Milkshakes for the past few years. I had looked at the Hot Dog Depot because they had good Hotdogs in the photos and they did not seem too far away. I happen to see that they have a variety of shakes include the one I have been looking for so long. So I was so excited I Tweeted to fellow Foodies that I found this awesome place a short drive across the State Line and I would be going there the next day. I have to say Your food options are spot on and your shakes are so smooth. I make the trip down to Rock Hill about every other week. You all are Awesome!

My son bought me food from this place for the first time and it was pretty good. They give you alot for the money more than the average fast food restaurant. Will be going back again

Hot Dog Depot is seriously a diamond in the rough! Driving through, most people wouldn’t look twice at this tiny little drive through, but they’re missing out! The selection of hot dogs is fantastic, with an option for any craving. Even if you’re not in the mood for a hot dog, there are plenty of other options that are just as quality. I’ve heard great things about their milkshakes as well, and wish I could partake! Overall, if you happen to be in town and are thinking about lunch, skip McDonald’s and go right up the street for something much better.

This is a local place with very good hot dogs, sausage and BBQ sandwiches. It's only open from 11-2 so it's just a lunch gig but it's a good lunch gig. It seems to be visited mostly by locals and it's just a drive thru place. But it is definitely worth a stop by and grab a quick lunch type of place.

Best hotdogs in this area imho. They also have decent chili cheese fries, tater tots and sometimes have special desserts like banana pudding or strawberry shortcake. It's a great price for lunch too.
